Where My List appears
A section on the Tasks tab, a marker on listed rows, and a starting point on the Focus tab.
My List shows up in three places, and stays out of the way when it’s empty.
A section on the Tasks tab. A My List section sits near the top, with a count, in all three view modes. Tap the heading to collapse it — the same tasks are still in the full list below. The section is hidden entirely while the list is empty.
A marker on the rows themselves. A listed task carries a faint rainbow band in its top corner and the words “My list” at the start of its second line, anywhere it appears in the app. The marker steps aside once the task is completed or archived.
A starting point on the Focus tab. When My List holds more than one task that’s ready to start, a My list / Suggested switch appears above the “Start here” tasks, and My list is what it opens on. My list mode shows up to five at a time; with a longer list, the shuffle icon draws a different set.
Separately, when anything on your list is available, one of those tasks is included among the tasks FreshChores suggests — so a shortlisted task tends to turn up without you going looking for it.
Note
None of this changes the order tasks come up in, or how often. My List affects what is shown, not what is due.
