The tasks you started with

Setup asks what you’d most like help with and begins with a few tasks there, rather than a full house.

Setup asks one question about what matters: “What would you most like help keeping on top of?” FreshChores starts with a few tasks in that area rather than filling your household with everything at once.

Before setup finishes, those starter tasks are shown under “Here’s where we’ll start”, each with its room and rhythm. If one doesn’t suit, tap the reload icon on that card to swap in a different task.

A small starting set is deliberate. It’s easier to tell whether a rhythm fits real life when there are three tasks than when there are forty.

Everything about a starter task can change later, from the same places as any other task:

Note

Starter tasks are ordinary tasks. Nothing about them is fixed, and nothing marks them as different once setup is over.
