What is a task?

A task is something that needs to get done — like vacuuming under a couch, taking out trash, or dusting a bookshelf.

FreshChores is designed to be calm. Tasks don’t have due dates, and there's no daily reset or streak system. When a task is completed, it goes away. When it's ready again, it simply becomes available.

• Tasks belong to the household (they’re part of one shared system).
• Some tasks apply to everyone. Others apply only to certain people.
• Tasks reappear based on their rhythm (aka frequency).
• No overdue warnings. No streaks.
• Earnings are optional and can be attached to tasks.
